Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov held the first meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, at which the issue of creating the cyber troops of Ukraine was considered.
“The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to develop and submit for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada a bill on the creation and functioning of cyber troops in the system of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine within two months,” the NSDC press service said.
The main enemy of Ukrainian cyber troops will be Russian informational operations troops, which already have a track record.
At the meeting, they discussed issues related to the necessary material, technical and financial resources that will be needed to create cyber troops and their subsequent support, issues on personnel recruitment, main tasks, etc.
